| RH-400 Radiation Tolerant Color Camera | ||||||||||||

The RH-400 (Petrel) radiation tolerant color system uses a special control unit in conjunction with a high-powered LED illuminator to provide color pictures from a high radiation tolerant mono-chrome RH-400 camera. The camera functions best in relatively low levels of ambient light, however good results are obtained in bright conditions up to 850 lux. The RH-400 has a Rad Total Dose of 7 X 107 and a Rad/HR Dose Rate of 1 X 106. A digital video (DV) output is available, as well as the standard video signals, allowing the user to feed the signal into a computer equipped with a “Firewire” port, (IEEE1394), and suitable software. The RTC-3, Radiation Tolerant Camera, was specifically developed for close-up inspection in high radiation areas, and is one of two interchangeable cameras on the Convertible Viewing System (CVS). Enhanced Chalnicon tube technology incorporated into the design of the RTC-3 allows the camera to provide a higher level of temperature and radiation tolerance than any other camera of its type in the industry. The RTC-3 features a 3:1, non-browning zoom lens with an additional Analog 2x zoom. An internal LED light ring is built into the face of the camera.
