The ROVer is small in size and designed for all monitoring applications including mounting on ROV's, manipulator arms, and diver helmets with a depth rating of 4000 meters (13,125 feet).
The high quality video output of the underwater camera is attributed to the integration of the Super HAD 1/3" CCD sensor, internally adjustable long line amplification and balanced video output circuitry. The ROVer provides onboard lighting with an internal LED ring. It is available with a wide angle of view lens, which fits into a narrow housing.
This camera is designed to plug in and play. ROVer is equipped with a RS-485 control option, which enables the user to control optional advanced features of the camera: digital 3X zoom, color or monochrome operation select, and contrast control options.

The SCE-X-25, Shielded Color Zoom Camera, is a robust and compact underwater video camera used by both nuclear utilities and service companies for underwater inspections.
Specifically developed for close-up viewing during reactor vessel inspections, the SCE-X-25 utilizes a high resolution SuperHAD image sensor coupled to a 25:1optical zoom and 12X digital zoom lens. New image stabilization and image flip features can be activated for greater inspection flexibility.
The SCE-X-25 is also available with special optics to magnify a 3/8” diameter rod such that it covers more than 1/2 of the monitor screen at a maximum distance of 47”. This underwater camera has been field proven in multiple plants inspecting activated fuel rods at distances between 22” and 47”.
The design of the SCE-X-25 incorporates modular subassemblies that can be easily replaced in a matter of minutes, utilizing only minimal hand tools. Additional stainless steel shielding on the front port protects the camera and allows for longer viewing while operating in radioactive environments. The streamlined construction of the housing also allows for easy decontamination.
ROS has been manufacturing an array of harsh environment cameras, lights, positioners, and specialized systems designed for oceanographic, nuclear, industrial, and military applications for over 30 years.
