With the ROS HPS-1000 System, many nuclear utility groups across the world have discovered that fewer lights are required to illuminate a pool or reactor vessel since one underwater HPS light provides 134,000 lumens alone. And because of the infrequent bulb change outs, labor, maintenance and human exposure to radiation are dramatically reduced, satisfying ALARA standards. Intrinsic to the design of the HPS-1000 bulb assembly is a patented outer quartz envelope which acts as a protective thermal barrier. The HPS (High Pressure Sodium) Underwater Droplight System is available in either 400 watt or 1000 watt system. The light assembly consists of a high pressure sodium bulb potted into a stainless steel base and is only 1.8 inches and 3.5 inches in diameter respectively. A flexible insulating compound provides shock mounting and eliminates the need for bulb sockets, O-rings, gaskets, or lip seals which could leak and cause premature failure. more... |

The WDL-75 Miniature Wet & Dry light can be moved from air into water while in operation. Its light output is color balanced with a narrow beam pattern ideally suited for video or photographic viewing applications. The WDL-75 is the perfect lighting solution when working in confined areas or for installation on small cameras, positioners, dive helmets, video inspection systems and ROVs. It utilizes the signature ROS connector/socket assembly and is available with a range of connector options.
